Ferrari pursuing Valentino Rossi for F1

The Italian supercar marque has been reportedly refused to give up their plans for a third car on the F1 grid and make a guess who they wish to have in the cockpit? Mad cap biking God, the best of the best Valentino ‘The Doctor’ Rossi.

Though it is true that Ferrari at the start had a vision of a third car in F1 for this season and they were having high hopes driving on their favourite Michael Schumacher will be able to return to the stable. However, the FIA dislodged their consideration by disallowing a three car per team contest.

It has been refused by Outgoing Ferrari President Luca di Montezemolo to give on the dream and he has been very desperate to hand the seat to six time MotoGP World Champion Rossi. Rossi has an enviable track record of 104 race wins. Rossi is the second only rider to compatriot former biking great, with 122 wins by Giacomo Agostini.

In a Corleone-esque statement issued by Ferrari, di Montezemolo says,” We want a third car and I would do everything to have Valentino,” he said. “When he wins this year’s MotoGP, enough is enough, he must also win in Formula One.”
