From last two years, the world of F1 has not failed to give us an end worthy of a championship thriller. In 2007, Kimi Raikkonen won the title in the last race of the season while seven points behind leader Lewis Hamilton before the race morning.
The following year, when the last lap of the last race, when everyone thought that Massa had won out over the wire, here in the last turn, Lewis Hamilton took over possession of the title, a shock to the Massa, an unexpected joy for the Hamilton followers.
While the new regulations including the drastic reduction of downforce, the return of slick tires and the new KERS system offered us many new but not so far made the championship more exciting. From the beginning, the new team Brawn GP has dominated all competitors, taking shelter from a possible return early in the season.
Red Bull has, at one point, seemed to have the weapons to turn the situation but with three races left, we are compelled to note that the fight for the title seems to be permanently over.
Ferrari has stopped the development of his car, Red Bull, which no longer seems to believe in respect and Brawn Gp who masters his subject, difficult to imagine a late-season excitement. In fact, this season has been more interesting outside of the track. Earlier this season, the famous double diffuser of Gp Brawn was the focus of discussions that were in the settlement. In Hungary, the unfortunate Massa is hit by debris and was forced to forfeit the rest of the season.
When the media inflamed the possible return of Michael Schumacher. The latter finally announced his comeback personally before him also to forfeit because of pain in the neck. The unfortunate Badoer, while test driver at Ferrari, Massa is appointed to replace and can not salvage. It is ridiculous in the eyes of the press at the Grand Prix of Valencia and Spa-Francorchamps, where he finished last twice. The fight for the title is sidelined, Ferrari is at the center of all discussions.
Fisichella takes over when without convincing. Meanwhile, Nelson Piquet Junior, then ousted by Flavio Briatore, takes his revenge by denouncing an act of cheating the latter on Singapore Grand Prix the previous year. These statements create an outcry before Briatore is finally excluded from the world of F1. At the level of transfers, Alonso should indeed move to Ferrari. It speaks of a 5 year contract of around 25 million per year from 2010. Therefore, Raikkonen at McLaren could return, forcing Kovalainen to join Renault. It remains a question mark about Nico Rosberg, who in view of its very promising results deserve better than Williams.
Many hustle then, but finally some action on the track. One of the latest attractions of the season will however certainly the Grand Prix of Abu Dhabi, a first in the history of F1. This last round of the season we should book the show, the organizers have done everything for us an eyeful. The program, infrastructure and a dream of racing scheduled to begin at sunrise to give it additional interest. Gentlemen, start your engines!
