Mercedes seems to getting aggressive in India. From last two weeks mercedes launched almost 4 car in Indian market and now Mercedes-Benz India announce the launch of R-class in this November.With the introduction of the R-Class in India, Mercedes Benz is about to create a completely niche segment in the premium end of the market.Mercedes-Benz R-class launched internationally in 2006, the car coming to India will be the updated version with new front grille, headlights, bonnet and wings.The new Mercedes-Benz R-class cost around Rs 60 lakh ex-showroom.

Tata Nano Diesel soon to come

The world’s cheapest car Tata Nano soon to come with Diesel engine. Tata Motor is now eyeing to tap the diesel segment with its low-cost car Tata Nano Diesel Version.“The sky is the limit for a car that is priced under Rs 2 lakh and the task on hand is to ensure that every nook and corner of the country is covered to reach out to the Nano buyer,” say industry sources. Other than Diesel Nano, Tata bring its electric Indica and Ace EV in Indian market. Tata Nano diesel expected to launch in November 2010.

Bajaj Ready To Launch A Low Cost Car

Bajaj, which has taken the challenge to build an ultra low cost car (ULC) similar to Tata Nano, is all set to launch the prototype by early 2011. Despite of various hindrance, Bajaj’s Nano rival is emerging out against these odds. Bajaj has agreed to do the necessary R&D to make a complete car for the sales and distribution .This car will be taken care of by Renault-Nissan, Bajaj’s partners of ULC.

New Skoda Fabia fitted with Diesel Engine of VW Polo

Lewis Hamilton Wins Belgian Grand Prix Thriller

McLaren’s Lewis Hamilton won a dramatic Belgian Grand Prix on Sunday, leading throughout and beating Red Bull’s Mark Webber by 1.5s despite one agonising moment, as the rains came on lap 35 and he slid momentarily into the gravel at Rivage.

Tata Motors planing to use JLR technology in Indica, Indigo CS and Nano

Tata Motors is seeking help of its British subsidiary Jaguar and Land Rover to build more refined variants of its popular models Nano, Indica and Indigo CS. As per the statement from PM Telang, MD, Tata Motors (India Operations), the company needs to improve its cars in terms of fits, finish, noise and vibration and design elements. It feels that its British counterpart can help develop such cars.

Mahindra terminate U.S. dealer agreement

Mahindra’s four-year saga with Global Vehicles is taking so many turns, it should get a telenovela on Univision. When we recently posted that the Pik-Up finally received EPA certification, GV and its dealer network were excited and ready to go. However, commenters on that post noted a message on Mahindra’s site indicating that the company’s relationship with GV was kaput.
