Maserati To Arrive In India Within 6 Months

Fiat Group has already announced the launch of its sport car brand Ferrari in India very soon. Now, according to some sources, the Italian car maker’s other luxury sports car brand, Maserati, will be on Indian road within next six months. Fiat Groups owns Maserati brand since 1993. The company is going to make an announcement about Ferrari’s official launch in India very soon.

Maserati Quattroporte Sport GTS

According to sources, Maserati is expected to launch the the Quattroporte range, GranCabrio and GrandTurismo series. The cars will be priced around Rs. 1 – 1.5 crore. Take a quick look at these cars-

Maserati Quattroporte:-

The Maserati Quattroporte is a luxury four-door saloon from the Italian car maker. The name translated from Italian literally means “four doors”. There have been five generations of the car, each separated by a period of roughly five years. The current fifth generation Maserati Quattroporte is powered by a 4.2 liter V8 engine that belts out 400 PS and is mated to a Duo Select transmission. Acceleration from 0-100 km/hr takes 5.6 seconds and the top speed is 269 km/hr. The Maserati Quattroporte is offered in four configurations: the base Quattroporte, the Quattroporte Sport GT, the Quattroporte Sport GTS, and the Quattroporte Executive GT.

Maserati GranTurismo MC Stradale

Maserati GranTurismo:-

The Maserati GranTurismo is a two-door 2+2 coupe introduced in 2007. In successive years, Maserati launched the GrandTurismo S, GrandTurismo MC, GranTurismo S, MC Sport Line and Gran Cabrio. The upcoming model is the MC Stradale, which was showcased at the 2010 Paris Motor Show. This sports car will likely be launched with a powerful 450 PS motor — more than any previous GranTurismo model.

Maserati GranCabrio:-

Maserati GranCabrio is a convertible version of GranTurismo S Automatic with canvas roof. The car was unveiled in 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show. Production was set to begin in 2010. The vehicle is built in the Viale Ciro Menotti Maserati factory. Delivery of the vehicle started in May 2010. The Maserati GranCabrio is powered by the same 4.7-liter 440 PS (324 kW; 434 hp) V8 that is in the GranTurismo S Automatic.
