With Mercedes-Benz and BMW fighting for No. 1 luxury car maker title, their country cousin Audi felt left behind. But, not any more! Audi India has launched a brand new car to take on Mercedes-Benz S-Class and BMW 7-Series. The company has introduced Audi A8 L in India today. The car will be priced from Rs. 89,00,000 (ex showroom Delhi) onwards.

Audi A8 L Engine Specifications:-
powered by a 4.2L FSI V8 petrol engine that will be capable of outpouring a peak power of 372 bhp in combination with a maximum torque of 445 Nm. Coming with an electronically controlled 8 speed tiptronic automated transmission and quattro permanent all wheel drive, the A8 is able to go from standstill to 100km/hr in just 5.8 seconds flat.
It is expected that the petrol version of the car will be followed by a diesel version that will be sporting a 3.0L TDI V6 diesel engine with the capability of delivering a maximum power of 247 bhp with 550 Nm of peak torque.
