Though Kawasaki did not taste much success with Ninja 250R in the country, the Japanese company is planning to launch Ninja 650R in Indian market very soon. The new bike looks similar to the Ninja 250R in appearance, but come with much powerful 650cc engine. With Honda CBR250R is getting popular with Indian bikers, even before its official launch, Kawasaki will leave no stone unturned for marketing of Ninja 650R.
In international market Kawasaki Ninja 650R (ER-6F) come with Powerful liquid-cooled, DOHC, 8-valve 649cc Parallel Twin with FI engine. And according to the rumours India will get the same bike when it’s launched.
Kawasaki Ninja 650R is offered with optional ABS which we hope might get as well. The front brakes are provided with 300mm dual petal discs and single disc at the rear for very effective and precise braking. The maximum output power of this bike is 72.1bhp at 8500rpm.
According to some experts Kawasaki Ninja 250R failed due to its hefty price tag. So, expect the company to offer 650R with reasonable price. According to sources, it might be assembled at Bajaj auto’s Chakan plant as completely knocked-Down (CKD) unit and would be priced around Rs. 5,50,000 which less than Suzuki GSXR 650 and Suzuki Bandit.
