Indian automobile industry witnessed today one of the biggest launch in recent time! Swedish car maker Koenigsegg launched its super sports car Agera in the country for whopping price of Rs. 12.5 crore. Agera, one of the fastest model in world, will be imported as completely built to order. Koenigsegg has tied up with Rahul Bhatia-promoted InterGlobe Enterprises who have launched a range of high-end, high-performance models in India.
The Koenigsegg Agera is powered by a 4.7-liter aluminium V8 engine with twin-turbo super chargers developing a mind-blowing 910 bhp of maximum power and an impressive 112 kgm (1,100 Nm) of torque at 5,100 rpm. The car apparently takes 3.1 seconds from 0–100 kmph and 8.9 seconds from 0-200 kmph. The top speed of the Agera is 390 kmph.
There are many luxury cars making its entry in India in the fall winter season. Recently BMW 6 Series convertible was launched. The new revised version of Volkswagen Passat has also been launched today.
