Maserati To Zoom On Indian Road In April

Yet another high end luxury car brand coming to the country! After their agreement with Shreyans Group to distribute Ferrari in Indian market, Fiat Group is ready with yet another high profile launch next month. According to a report in Economic Times, Italian luxury sports car brand Maserati will be launched in India in April 2011.

Maserati spokeswomen Silvia Saporetti, “We see a great potential for Maserati marquee as all major luxury brands are sold out in the Indian market.”

She also added that Maserati will bring every model from its stable which are Quattroporte range, GranCabrio and GrandTurismo series. The company is yet to announce its Indian partner, but has inked a deal with a Mumbai company to import its models from the next fiscal.

Its two-seater GranCabrio range will cost around 5 crore, Quattroporte sedan will start from 3 crore while the top-end sporty GranTurismo coupe will be around 4.75 crore.
