Just Yesterday Mahindra & Mahindra announced the new name, Verito, for its old sedan Logan. The Mumbai-based company today launched the new Mahindra Verito with revised price in both petrol and diesel variants, across India. The starting price for new Verito sedan is Rs. 4.82 lakh.
“The Verito, with its unique value proposition aligns with the Mahindra DNA of offering tough, rugged and sporty vehicles. For the first time, we are using social media platforms to unveil a new product, reflecting alternative thinking,” M&M’s Chief Executive, Automotive Division, Rajesh Jejurikar, said in a statement.
“The earlier Logan will continue to get complete service and spares support from us,” he added.
The Mahindra Verito comes with existing Logan engine options that is – 1.5 DCi CRDi diesel engine or 1.4 MPFI petrol engine and offers large boot space, wide seats and great mileage of as high as 21.03 KMPL. Price Of Mahindra Verito in India Mahindra Verito with BS3 Petrol engine will cost Rs. 4.82 Lakhs and with BS3 Diesel engine will cost Rs. 5.62 Lakhs, both prices ex-showroom. BS4 compliant engine variants are also available in the cities where BS4 emission norms are implemented.
Verito which is derived from the Latin word ‘Veritas’ means truth and goes with the overall image of an honest, sensible and dependable car, the company said.
