Ducati Diavel Launched In India For Rs 17 Lakh Onwards

Italian superbike maker, Ducati, has launched its latest Diavel model in India today. The bike will be available in three variants, prices for the Diavel start from Rs 17.06 lakh (ex-showroom) for the base, the Carbon variant retails at Rs 22.06 lakh and the top end Carbon Red variant is priced at Rs 22.43 lakh. The two wheeler maker introduced the bike at its showroom in Bangalore which is Ducati’s fourth showroom in India.

CEO of Ducati Asia Pacific, Mr. Mirko Bordiga, commented on the launch, “Our partnership with Matrix Agencies in Bengaluru is very significant and reflects Ducati’s efforts to connect with its consumers and provide high quality services that equals international standards. With a perfect combination of aesthetics, dynamism and perfect road handling, our Ducati products provide a truly unmatched biking experience.”

Ducati Diavel Features Testastretta 11°, L-Twin cylinder, 4 valve per cylinder, Desmodromic, liquid cooled engine. Its displacement is 1198.4cc with bore × stroke as 106 × 76.9 mm. its compression ratio is 11:5:1.it has power of 162hp (119kW) @ 9500rpm and torque of 94lb-ft (127.5Nm) @ 8000rpm. It has fuel injection of Mitsubishi electronic fuel injection system, Mikuni elliptical throttle bodies with RbW and exhaust of Lightweight 2-1-2 system with catalytic converter and two lambda probes and Twin aluminium mufflers.

Other features include, ABS, Ducati Traction Control and Ducati Riding Modes namely, Sport, Touring and the Urban mode. Each mode has been designed specifically taking into consideration different riding conditions. The Sport mode will provide the maximum response from the engine while the Touring and Urban modes are for more relaxed riding.
