Pune based Garware Motors is planning to launch 3 more bike models from Hyosung stable with lower engine capacity in India next year. These three new models will have 250cc and 450cc engine capacity. The company recently launched Hyosung’s GT650R and ST 7 for the price of Rs 4,75,000 and Rs 5,69,000 respectively.

Shrikant Patankar, President, Garware Motors said, “We will be launching three new models which may have engine capacity of 250 CC and 400 CC. This launch will happen next year.”
Garware is also considering bringing in the entire range of S&T’s products in the next three years, including gearless scooters, electric scooters and 250cc and 125cc bikes. The company officials also said that they will bring in mass market products like gearless scooters, electric scooters and 250cc and 125cc bikes within next three years.
Since the launch of two Hyosung models in Indian market, Garware Motors has secured orders for supplying 180 bikes across the country, with major booking coming from Pune, Delhi and Mumbai. The company has set up an assembly facility in Pune with an investment of Rs. 220 million and an installed capacity of 8-10 bikes per day.
Garware is looking to sell 2,000 Hyosung superbikes this year. It plans to expand its dealership network to 15 by the end of this fiscal. We will be opening more outlets at several places including Hyderabad, Maharashtra, Haryana, Punjab etc, Shrikant Patankar said.
