Kawasaki Ninja 650R Launched In India

Here is the good news for sports bike lovers in India. Bajaj Auto has launched the Kawasaki Ninja 650R in the country at a price of Rs. 4.57 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).The newly launched bike will compete with recently launched Hyosung GT650R which is priced at Rs. 4.74 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).

The launch of the bike has definitely make the dream coming true of the super bike lovers in India who were keenly waiting for some sports bike to be launched by some Indian manufacturer  at an affordable price. But, you have to wait for long period before you can actually own one as the waiting period for the Ninja 650R is 60 days.

The Ninja 650R is powered by a 649cc, 4 stroke, DDHC, 8 valve, parallel twin liquid cool engine that is capable to churn out max power of 72 PS at 8500 rpm and lays out max torque of 68 N m at 7000 rpm with the help of 6 speed gearbox.  The dimensional measurement of Kawasaki Ninja 650R (LxWxh) are 2,100 x 760 x 1,200 mm supported by 1410 mm wheelbase. It has the fuel capacity of 15.5 litres.

The other features installed in new Kawasaki Ninja 650R includes the 6 speed transmission, upgraded with 41mm suspension front with telescopic front and rear suspension with offset laydown single shock. Kawasaki Ninja is upgraded with dual semi floating 300 mm petal disc in front brake whereas rear brake has single 220 mm single petal disc. Uploaded with all these and many other features Kawasaki Ninja 650R has made its debut in Indian bike market.
