Toyota officially unveiled the third-generation of Yaris for the Europe. Toyota teased the new Yaris at 2011 Geneva Motor Show with the Yaris HSD concept. The new Toyota Yaris comes with Toyota Touch & Go multimedia system. Also the new yaris offers better packaging than its predecessor.
Come withe tag line says “compact outside, spacious inside,” New Yaris available in three variant a 1.0L gas engine, a 1.33L gas engine a 1.4L diesel unit. The confirmed specs about the car and transmissions is not avilabel but six-speed automatic and manual is expected and soon the hybrid version added.
Toyota the new Yaris features an improved interior, thanks to the use of “high quality materials and surface finishes.” Toyota describes the Yaris’ interior as more driver-focused, with the car’s gauge cluster moving from the middle of the dash to its typical location behind the steering wheel.
The Euro-spec Yaris will be built at Toyota’s Valenciennes, France factory, with deliveries to begin later this year. No word when an updated Yaris might make it to U.S. dealerships.
