The Internet does its thing again, revealing facts about an upcoming car. A member of Teamspeed forum has provided the specifications of upcoming next generation 2012 Porsche 911, via Car and Driver magazine. According to the report, the new 911 will feature a retro Targa model as well as a 7-speed manual transmission.
2012 Porsche 911 comes with 3.4-liter engine, direct-injected flat-six from the Boxster S with 350 horsepower at 6400 rpm and max torque of 280 pound-feet between 4400 and 6000 rpm. The Carrera S meanwhile gets the 3.8-liter flat-six with direct injection tuned to make 400 horsepower at 7200 rpm.
