British iconic motorcycle brand Triumph made foray into Indian market at Delhi Auto Expo 2012. The two wheeler maker launched as many as seven bikes with a price range of Rs 5.5 lakh to Rs 22 lakh. The company initially plans to establish 3-4 dealerships in major cities and sales are like to commence by the festive season, beginning October.
“2012 is a very crucial year for Triumph motorcycles globally as we take our first steps into one of the most evolving markets (India) in the world. The motorcycle models put on display represent exemplary British engineering dovetailed with distinctive design and looks,” Triumph Motorcycles India Managing Director Ashish Joshi said at the Auto Expo 2012.
