Honda Motorcycles & Scooter India (HMSI) is all set to crowned as country’s third largest selling two wheeler maker leaving behind TVS Motor Company. The company has managed to sell 1,91,584 units in the month of December 2011 as against 1,40,719 units in the corresponding month in the year 2010.
Motorcycle sales jumped 24.97 per cent to 78,721 units in December, last year, against 62,991 units in December 2010, it added.
The HMSI reported an increase of 45.20 per cent in scooter sales to 1,12,863 units compared to 77,728 units in December 2010.
