Abhijeet.S German luxury car maker, Mercedes-Benz is going to launch B-Class hatchback model in India in 2012. The company is going to introduce the model at Frankfurt Auto Show 2011, in September. Mercedes-Benz has released the first official specifications about the 2012 B-Class.

Just a few days after BMW announced plans to launch new X3 SAV in India, its German rival Audi has come-up with new Q5 to counter it. The luxury car maker today announced the launch of new Audi Q5 2.0 TDI Quattro in the country. According to the company’s statement, new Audi Q5 2.0 TDI Quattro is priced at Rs 39,05,000 (ex-showroom Maharashtra). Car deliveries will begin in April, the company added.

The company said in a statement that it will launch BMW X3 SAV (Sport Activity Vehicle) by mid of 2011. The auto giant also said that it will assemble the X3 from Completely Knocked Down (CKD) kits in its Chennai plant.

The small car was launched officially yesterday in Thailand with starting price of 399,900 Baht (around Rs. 6 lakh). Honda Brio is expected to make its India debut very soon with price tag of Rs. 4.5 lakh. The concept model of Brio was unveiled at 2010 Thailand International Motor Expo.

November 8th, 2010 Abhijeet.S The first Reva electric car after Mahindra’s take-over of the company was launched recently in the city of nawabs, Hyderabad. Anurag Bajaj of Park Hotel, Hyderabad became the proud owner of the first REVAi when he was handed over the keys by Sabita Indira Reddy P. The all new REVAi will be available at the Mahindra dealership centers all over Hyderabad. The customers are also offered with finance facility through Mahindra Finance; the buyers need to pay EMI of Rs 8999 for three years and refundable deposit of Rs 1 lakh. The REVAi can either be owned permanently by making a final payment of Rs 50,000 or return the car and claim the refundable deposit.

The new Hyundai Santa Fe is available in two versions which will cost between Rs 20.95 lakh- Rs 22.95 lakh. The model has got a powerful 2.2-litre CRDi engine which will be available in Diesel variant only. The car is the seven-seater and would come as a Complete Build Unit (CBU) in the domestic circuit.
