Ramy Rules India’s leading auto maker Mahindra & Mahindra today reporting the signed of definitive agreement with Ssangyong Motor Company Limited (SYMC) to acquire 70 per cent stake. For that Mahindra pay Rs 2,105 crore (USD 463 million). Mahindra said it’s expected the deal to be concluded by March 2011.

The new list include all-new premium SUV from recently acquired Korean company Ssangyong and New refresh Logan.Also Mahindra planing to launch lower-priced version of its MPV “Xylo. “We are in the process of working out a number of new models, and these would hit the market in the next 15-18 months,” said Rajesh Jejurikar, chief executive of Mahindra’s Automotive Division.

Reva Motors owned by Mahindra & Mahindra hope to catch rising demand for ecofriendly cars in China. Reva soon to introduce its massmarket model in China which promotes ecofriendly vehicles through a subsidy programme.“China is one of the largest auto market and given the huge demand for eco-friendly vehicles it could generate in future, we would like to take our new cars into that market,” said Pawan Goenka, chairman, Mahindra Reva Electric.

This time they come up with the new model which is based on Xylo platform. Here is the some spy shot of the new SUV of Mahindra which is named as Mahindra W201 World SUV. The new W21 SUV equipped with GPS unit. The whole design not so different from Xylo specially the back side of the car is almost similar to Xylo.

Mahindra and Mahindra have signed an MoU with the Korean auto maker Ssangyong Motors to take over. But the both company has not disclosed the any figures for the deal signed.Ssangyong announced the signing of the memorandum of understanding in a regulatory filing to the Seoul stock exchange.”We give the takeover candidate (Mahindra and Mahindra) an exclusive right for negotiation, and won’t be involved in any takeover-related activities with a third party,” the company said.

August 19th, 2010 Nitin Mahindra Group, one of the leading business houses in India with market capital about $7.1 billion is thinking about launching some new car models in the auto market of Sri Lanka. Mahindra Vice Chairman, Mr Anand Mahindra announced in Colombo, “In keeping with our long term plans for this region, we are soon going to enhance our current product portfolio in the market with the launch of several new products, including the Maxximo, a technologically modern sub 1 tonne pickup and HCVs (Heavy Commercial Vehicles).”
