According to a top official from the company, Nissan Motor India will begin the export of its entry level sedan Sunny from March this year. The Japanese company currently produces hatchback Micra & Sunny at its Oragadam near Chennai manufacturing facility which is jointly owned by French automaker Renault.

Now we have reports that the company celebrated the start of production of its ‘Made-in-India’ mid-size sedan Nissan Sunny at the its manufacturing plant at Oragadam, near Chennai. This is the second completely made in India car to be rolled out after Micra hatchback by Nissan from the Chennai plant in a period of 15 months.

Abhijeet.S Japanese car maker Nissan Motor today unveiled its mid-size segment sedan ‘Sunny’ for Indian market. Nissan Motor India did not revealed prices or engine details of the car (click here to check specifications of Sunny available in China), but, according to the buzz the car will be launched in the festive season (Oct-Dec). The tenth generation Nissan Sunny is based on the popular V (Versatile) platform, the same as the one used in the Nissan Micra.
