Abhijeet.S Volkswagen AG may this year complete the purchase of the 50.1 percent of Porsche SE’s automotive business that it does not already own for 3.9 billion euros, Bloomberg reported. VW will get around having to pay more than 1 billion euros in taxes if completing the purchase before 2014 by setting up a holding company to temporarily take control of the stake, the report added.
January 13th, 2012 Abhijeet.S Porsche has revealed all-new third generation open-top two-seater Porsche Boxster (981) which is lighter and leaner with a completely revised chassis and 15 percent more fuel-efficient engines than the previous one.

August 26th, 2011 Abhijeet.S Porsche has officially unveiled the all-new seventh-generation 911 ahead of its public debut at upcoming Frankfurt Motor Show. The German sports car maker has released official photos and full specifications of 2012 911 Carerra and Carerra S confirming that it will in fact come with a world’s first 7-speed manual transmission. The model goes on sale on December 3 but will start taking orders as early as September 1.

The new Porsche Centre is fourth in India, besides New Delhi, Mumbai and Hyderabad. The new showroom will offer five models — Boxster S, Cayman S, 911, Panamera and Cayenne with 37 different variants. Porsche India aims to sell 500 cars in India this year which will be almost five times more than last year’s sales.
