Nissan Hikes Micra, Sunny Prices By Up To Rs 12,000

As announced last month, Nissan Motor India, will increase the prices of its Micra hatchback and Sunny sedan between 0.56 per cent to 2.09 per cent from tomorrow onwards to minimise the the impact of rising input cost and rupee depreciation.

Maruti Suzuki, GM India Hikes Car Prices

Auto majors Maruti Suzuki and General Motors India have increased the prices of various models to offset rising input costs and the impact of currency fluctuation. Maruti Suzuki India (MSI) has hiked prices of its vehicles across models, except for entry-level sedan DZire, by between 0.3 per cent and 3.4 per cent. GM India has also increased product prices by between 0.5 per cent and 1.75 per cent.

Mahindra Hikes XUV500 Prices By Up Tp Rs 55,000

Three months after its launch, Mahindra & Mahindra, will increase the prices of its much in-demand global car XUV500 from January 1 due to higher raw material costs and the rupee fall. The hike will be Rs 30,000 for the base W6 variant, Rs 50,000 for the W8 2WD variant and Rs 55,000 for the W8 4WD variant.

Audi Cars To Cost More From Early 2012

Mahindra To Hike Prices Of All Models By Up To 3% From January

Auto major Mahindra & Mahindra said it will raise the prices of its entire range of vehicles by up to 3 per cent from January 1 due to rising input costs. M&M “would be raising the prices of its products by up to 3 per cent, depending on models”, the company said in a statement.

Renault Koleos Price To Be Hiked By Rs 1 Lakh From January

Car maker Renault India today said it will hike the price of its sports utility vehicle Koleos by Rs 1 lakh from January 1 due to depreciating rupee. The Koleos will now be available at Rs 23.99 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi) instead of Rs 22.99 lakh.

Nissan Motor India has reportedly finalised a hike in the prices of small car Micra and the petrol version of premium sedan Sunny by up to 2 per cent from January, mainly due to devaluation of rupee. Prices of the Sunny diesel variant will not be increased, as it was launched yesterday only.

Hyundai Motor India To Hike Prices By January

The country’s second-largest car-maker Hyundai Motor India will raise the prices of its vehicles by 1.5 to 2 per cent by January 2012 on account of high inflation and the weak rupee. Thus the Korean company’s subsidiary joins the price hike bandwagon along with Toyota Kirloskar, General Motors and Ford, who have announced the price hike earlier.

GM, Ford India To Hike Car Prices From January

General Motors India and Ford India have announced that they are going to hike the car prices from January 2012 on account of rising input costs and devaluation of rupee. GM India will increase the price by 1-2 per cent, while Ford cars will be costlier by 3 per cent. Earlier this week, Toyota Kirloskar Motor has announced the price hike by 3 per cent for the same reasons.

Toyota Kirloskar To Hike Prices By Up To 3% From January 1

Toyota Kirloskar Motor, the Indian subsidiary of Toyota Motor Corp., is all set to raise the prices of entire range of locally-produced vehicles by up to 3 per cent from January 1. The price hike decision of the company is mainly due to the depreciating value of the rupee against the yen.
